The conversation quickly turns to the cute boys that will be there this year. Holly’s best friend, Thea, arrives, and Holly asks her to keep her relation to Uncle Bill a secret, since they don’t want anyone to treat Holly differently. Instead of killing it, she solves the problem by throwing the pillow on another bed and making it someone else’s issue. She immediately regrets this decision when she finds a spider on her pillow in her cabin. Even though she hates the outdoors, Holly’s a sweetheart and is keen to help her favourite uncle! The second year, there was a flood and a measles outbreak, and finally last year, a camper was killed in a boating accident and Uncle Bill’s been having trouble getting people to come back. The first year, a lightning strike caused one of the buildings to burn down. He’s owned it for the last three years, but hasn’t had much success yet due to some really bad luck.
